Lavirona collects the information needed to provide its editorial city-guide experience. This can include your chosen display name, profile image, saved corners, uploaded images, scene notes, field notes, moderation preferences, and any content you choose to submit.
We also process technical information such as device type, app version, crash data, and interaction events. If you choose to use nearby discovery or submit a new corner, we may request precise location, photo library access, camera access, or microphone access depending on the feature you use.
We use collected information to operate Lavirona, maintain your account state, personalize your atlas, measure app quality, improve editorial recommendations, and keep community features functioning as expected.
Content you upload may be used to display place entries, scene cards, or other editorial surfaces inside the product. Aggregated analytics may also be used to understand which places, themes, and city collections are most useful to our users.
Location access is used to show nearby corners, estimate distance, and help place a new entry accurately on the map. Photo-library and camera access are used for profile images, cover images, and visual content attached to a corner or scene card.
Microphone access is only used if you choose to record a short audio note. You can manage these permissions through your device settings at any time.
We do not sell your personal data to third-party data brokers. We may use general infrastructure, analytics, or stability providers to help operate the app, diagnose performance issues, and maintain service reliability.
Where required, those service providers process data on our behalf and are restricted to supporting Lavirona's operations.
We retain account and contribution data for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect stored information.
Lavirona is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a minor has submitted personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect product changes, operational needs, or legal requirements. The updated effective date at the top of this page indicates when the revision became active.
